Chlorine Testing.webp

Why is it important for my pool chemical and water levels to be correct?

A: Proper pool chemical and water levels are essential to maintaining a safe and healthy swimming environment. Improper levels can lead to skin and eye irritation, as well as the growth of harmful bacteria.

How often should skimmer and pump baskets be cleaned?

We recommend cleaning your skimmer and pump baskets once a week to ensure that they are free of debris. This optimizes flow within the pool and keeps it operating efficiently.

Does my saltwater pool require any chlorine?

Yes, even though saltwater pools use a salt-based filtration system, they still require the addition of some chlorine to maintain the proper chemical balance.

Q: What causes algae growth in my pool?

Algae growth can be caused by depleted chlorine levels, poor filtration, high levels of phosphates, and low pH levels. These are common problems seen during hot summer months, or after heavy rains. We can help you determine the cause of the algae growth and develop a plan to treat it.
